I met Anne the day Kate was born and our son Craig. We struck up a friendship immediately as we negotiated our first few challenging days of becoming new Mums. We laughed so much , not best idea after recently giving birth ! We then continued to support each of the next few years so our friendship grew . But life moves forward and as our families got older we unfortunately lost touch over the years. But always at Christmas a card we would both send, and as it dropped on my doorstep it would remind me of times shared. From time to time we would bump into each other and it was as if the years would roll away and we could still natter for England and of course lagh . That's because this was the sort of wonderful person she was. Warm , kind and a genuinely beautiful lady. Do I regret not seeing her more of course, but am also grateful for the times I did share with her which l will always be grateful and feel privileged to have met her . I will always remember Anne with such fondness and smile in her memory. Sleep well my friend, now reunited with your one true love. Rest in eternal peace ,the heavens are blessed. And sending my heartfelt sympathy to Kate, Lucy and families xx
